Engineering and math are my two favorite subjects in school. My teachers have always encouraged me to use my brain, and I’ve always been a very creative person, so it was no surprise that as a high school senior, I decided to major in engineering and math. In college, I started working on a project related to the fields of engineering and computer science, and ended up getting my Bachelor’s degree in these two majors. In 2013, when he announced his intention to run for governor of New York, Governor Andrew Cuomo named Leopold “Leo” Pfeiffer as his chief of staff. Leopold is an electrical engineer by career who not only has strong experience with computer networks but is also a mentor for many students at the New York Institute of Technology (NYIT). So much so that he founded the National Institute for Computer Engineering (NICEE), which mentors students interested in computers and electronics. We’re very excited about this launch of Leopold & Pfeiffer into government service! — pqshield oxford crunch PFEIGE is an organization focused on creating public-private partnerships to promote innovation and entrepreneurship through digital transformation and data management efforts.
